Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Service Manager to oversee the maintenance, inspection, and readiness of repo electric auto-rickshaws across. This role is crucial for ensuring the refurbished repo fleet is operational, compliant, and ready for deployment or
resale.
Key Responsibilities:
Repo Vehicle Management:
- Assume comprehensive ownership of all repossessed electric rickshaws within the assigned regional territories.
- Supervise technical inspections, fault diagnostics, and necessary repairs to guarantee the operational readiness of the fleet.
- Maintain rigorous and precise documentation regarding the technical health and maintenance history of each unit.
City-Level Service Coordination:
- Interface with regional service partners and technicians to facilitate efficient repair workflows.
- Directly monitor and optimize the turnaround cycle for vehicle refurbishing and maintenance services.
- Implement standardized quality protocols across all operational cities to ensure consistency.
Spare Parts & Inventory:
- Manage the availability and effective deployment of spare parts inventory.
- Analyze consumption patterns and maintain optimal stock levels tailored to city-specific needs.
Vendor & Workshop Management:
- Cultivate and sustain strategic relationships with regional garages and service providers.
- Negotiate commercial terms, ensure adherence to service level agreements, and audit output quality.
Team Leadership & MIS:
- Guide and mentor field personnel or coordinators to enhance operational performance.
- Ensure the maintenance of exhaustive MIS reports detailing asset status, expenditure, and repair timelines.
Compliance & Quality Checks:
- Validate that every repossessed unit adheres to corporate and regulatory benchmarks prior to deployment.
- Perform periodic and unscheduled quality audits across various geographic locations.
Candidate Profile:
- Professional credentials in Automobile, Mechanical Engineering, or a parallel technical discipline.
- Possess 4 to 5 years of functional expertise in service operations, with a focus on EV or 3W sectors.
- Prior experience in repossessed asset management or vehicle refurbishment processes is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated proficiency in vendor relations and commercial negotiation.
- Willingness to commit to frequent multi-city travel as part of operational requirements.
- Functional knowledge of EV architecture, battery systems, and fundamental electrical diagnostics.
