Turno (Brand of Blubble Pvt Ltd) is an Electric Vehicle company that helps operators of commercial vehicles to switch to EVs. Turno does this by providing a wide selection of vehicles from partner OEMs, affordable financing, and battery value guarantees to ensure the highest return on value for EV owners. Turno's mission is to transition gasoline miles to electric miles in India. Turno is founded by Hemanth Aluru and Sudhindra Reddy Pidapa - experienced entrepreneurs in the mobility industry with a strong track record of value creation. Recently, they led Zoomcar, India's largest personal mobility platform.
Commercial Vehicles contribute 80-90% of fuel burnt today - those are the miles we want to replace with EV miles. And even though commercial EVs exist, adoption has been slow. That's what we solve for. After capturing ~20% of the L5 category 3W cargo vehicles in India, we have launched the electric bus segment catering to buses of all sizes across segments - inter-city travel, intra-city travel, employee and student transportation.
Responsibilities:
- Commercial Sales - Responsible for driving new customer acquisition and revenue growth. Implement sales processes, best practices, and tools to optimize the sales cycle.
- Customer Understanding - Should have a good understanding of our customers needs and develop effective products to meet those needs.
- Operational and Financial Excellence - Implement efficient processes and workflows to create efficiencies and enhance customer acquisition, adoption, retention and expansion.
- Work closely with the central team and senior management to create sales targets, manage budgets and support revenue objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate with all central departments, to ensure a seamless customer journey and feedback loop for product enhancements.
- Market Analysis - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and potential challenges. Adjust strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
Our Vision of You
- Bachelor's degree. MBA is a plus
- 4+ years of experience in sales as ASM/RSM at Bus OEMs, dealerships or bus financing institutions is mandatory
- Experience in sales as ASM/RSM at Bus OEMs, dealerships or bus financing institutions is mandatory
- Willing to travel across assigned territory
- Good communication skills
Job Location: North region (based in Delhi-NCR) and West region (based in Maharashtra/Gujarat)
