The Opportunity
We are excited to be hiring a Staff Product Designer, Experience to join our Experience team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the customer experience across the Kandji platform. As a senior design leader, you’ll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to enhance onboarding, in-app billing, and end-to-end user journeys. As a key contributor, you will design strategic solutions that simplify complex workflows and deliver exceptional user experiences, driving measurable outcomes for the business.

How you will make a difference day to day:

  • Design and document user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes that enhance the user experience, focusing on critical areas such as onboarding, billing, and user journeys.
  • Use data-driven insights, including user research, analytics, and customer feedback, to inform design decisions and create user-centered solutions.
  • Advocate for the end-user by ensuring every design decision improves usability, accessibility, and the overall experience.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to iterate on design concepts and refine the user experience.
  • Dive deep into user needs and workflows, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and simplify complex interactions.
  • Participate in user research activities, such as usability testing and customer interviews, to validate design decisions and iterate based on feedback.
  • Maintain a high standard for design quality and consistency, ensuring all deliverables align with our overall product vision.
  • Balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail, ensuring that every aspect of the user experience is thoughtfully crafted.
  • Embrace a hands-on approach, whether you’re conducting user research, defining micro-interactions, or collaborating on UI components.
  • Thrive in a collaborative, ego-free environment where feedback is welcomed and every team member is encouraged to contribute to the overall success of the product.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience designing user-centric experiences across responsive web, with a portfolio demonstrating your design thinking and process.
  • Strong expertise in Figma and other UX/UI design tools, with experience in creating and contributing to design systems.
  • Proven experience in improving critical aspects of the user journey, such as onboarding, billing, or customer support workflows.
  • A deep understanding of UX design principles, including accessibility and usability standards, particularly within complex or enterprise-level applications.
  • Strong collaboration skills with a track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and other designers.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and advocate for user experience improvements.
  • Required to work on-site 5x a week in our Miami office (Coral Gables).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience designing for SaaS platforms with a focus on optimizing the customer journey and internal business workflows.
  • Familiarity with creating, implementing, and managing design systems that ensure consistency while allowing for flexibility in specific areas.
  • A strong focus on simplifying complex processes and a passion for creating delightful user experiences.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in a fast-paced, iterative design environment.
  • Understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and accessibility standards.
