About the role

As a Territory Account Executive at Goose, you’ll establish Goose’s presence in your territory, identify high-potential accounts, and develop the local market from the ground up. You’ll take ownership of the entire sales process, driving revenue and building strong relationships with multi-location pet care businesses working directly with owners, general managers, and operational leaders.

You will also work closely with our CEO and leadership team, collaborating directly with Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Customer Success, to shape our product and sales strategy. We value creativity, collaboration, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Own the sales process for multi-location pet service companies. You will own the full lifecycle, from outreach, to qualification, and closing.
  • Generate pipeline through field prospecting and cold outbound. This includes in-person visits, local networking, and territory-based outreach.
  • Schedule and conduct on-site meetings. You will demo the Goose product and lead discovery with pet care business owners and decision-makers.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting. You’ll provide clarity on revenue and ensure targets are met.
  • Help build the sales process and playbook. Your insights will shape our approach and refine our strategy.
  • Understand customer needs and decision-making processes. Tailor your approach to deliver real value to each client.
  • Capture and share product feedback. Relay insights from customers to the product team to influence our roadmap.
  • Represent Goose at trade shows and set up local events. Use these opportunities to generate leads and build relationships.
  • Develop long-term customer partnerships. Ensure successful onboarding, retention, and growth.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of SaaS sales experience, with at least 1.5 of those as a quota-carrying AE. You’ve been there, done that, and know what it takes to meet or beat your targets.
  • Experience in field or outside sales. You’re comfortable walking into a business, starting conversations, and building pipeline face-to-face.
  • Comfort with technical products and complex value propositions. We need someone who can simplify complex ideas and make Goose’s value crystal clear to our prospects.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, diverse, and collaborative team environment. You love rolling up your sleeves and jumping into the action.
  • Self-driven and career-oriented. We’re in the early stages, so if you’re looking to be part of building something meaningful and aren’t afraid to take initiative, you’ll fit right in.
  • Proficiency with Hubspot or Salesforce. You should be comfortable navigating CRM systems to keep everything organized and the sales process moving.
  • Willingness to spend a significant portion of time in the field. This may be 25–50% depending on territory needs.

  • Interest in growing into a sales leadership role
  • Experience at early-stage SaaS companies
  • Experience selling to SMB or multi-location businesses (restaurants, retail, fitness, hospitality, or similar).
  • Prior formal sales training an Fortune 500 company
  • Familiar with prospecting lists using tools like Clay, Appollo, or Sales Navigator
  • Experience in pet services or other adjacent industries (i.e., restaurants, gyms, etc.)
