Description
Welcome to Zesty, a dynamic startup at the forefront of cloud optimization innovation!
Zesty’s Mission
Zesty is redefining how companies manage cloud infrastructure - automating resource scaling, optimizing costs, and improving efficiency with intelligent, real-time solutions. Our platform helps engineering teams focus on building great products instead of managing cloud waste.
About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and people-focused HR Business Partner to join our HR team supporting the Engineering organization.
This role combines strategic partnership with hands-on execution, driving business success through scalable, people-centric solutions in a fast-moving, global environment.
What will you do?
- Act as a trusted partner to managers by building strong relationships, understanding business needs, and providing thoughtful, strategic HR guidance.
- Oversee requisitions in the HR system, partner with the Talent Acquisition team, and participate in interviews for key roles to ensure a seamless and consistent hiring experience.
- Support managers in driving team performance and growth through talent reviews, career development, internal mobility, and leadership planning.
- Handle employee relations with empathy and professionalism, using feedback from 1:1s, surveys, and exit interviews to identify trends and strengthen engagement and culture.
- Lead the execution of global and local HR programs such as engagement surveys, performance management, and compensation reviews, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Monitor and analyze HR data on turnover, engagement, and hiring trends to provide actionable insights that guide decisions and future planning.
- Ensure HR practices comply with Israeli labor laws and company policies. Manage employment processes—including onboarding, documentation, and terminations—and collaborate closely with Payroll, Finance, and Legal.
- Drive change management initiatives such as reorganizations, leadership transitions, and cost actions, ensuring clear communication and smooth execution to minimize disruptions.
- Own and continuously improve core HR processes end-to-end: onboarding, performance, compensation, engagement, and offboarding.
- Collaborate with global HR peers to align programs, share best practices, and support company-wide initiatives.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in the HR field, 3+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner in a high-growth, global tech company.
- Proven experience supporting managers and leading HR projects end-to-end.
- Deep understanding of Israeli labor laws and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels.
- Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English—both written and verbal.
- Confident handling employee relations, investigations, and compliance matters.
- Hands-on experience running core HR processes: onboarding, performance, and compensation cycles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and matrixed environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or related field (Master’s degree – an advantage).
- Proficient with HRIS systems and productivity tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Our way of working
- We make decisions with data, lead with people first, and keep communication crisp.
- We build scalable playbooks, not one-off exceptions.
- We try to keep things practical and human.
- We thrive in fast-changing environments
- Bonus points if you can turn chaos into checklists without killing the magic :)
