Position: Deal Originator & Execution Lead - Enterprise Finance
Role Overview: We are seeking a Lead Deal Originator to own the end-to-end deal lifecycle for our comprehensive enterprise finance suite under Yubi Markets. You will be responsible for sourcing, structuring, negotiating, and executing transactions for SMEs, MSMEs, and large corporates (both listed and unlisted). A key differentiator of this role is the responsibility to drive deals from initial pitch to final close, including the negotiation of all commercial terms and agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deal Origination & Strategy:
  • Proactively originate transactions across the complete product suite: Working Capital, Term Loans, NCDs, CCDs, Promoter Finance, Supply Chain Finance, and Unlisted Equity.
  • Develop and execute a targeted origination strategy to build a robust pipeline within the SME, MSME, and large corporate segments.
  • End-to-End Deal Execution & Negotiation:
  • Term Sheet Leadership: Lead the structuring and negotiation of term sheets for all product types, aligning terms with client needs and internal risk parameters, Lenders & institutional investors.
  • Commercial Documentation: Own the negotiation and closure of engagement letters and fee letters, ensuring clear terms of mandate and compensation.
  • Credit Coordination: For NCD, CCD & unlisted Equity transactions, act as the primary liaison with the internal Credit & Risk team. Coordinate the flow of information, facilitate due diligence, and advocate for the transaction while ensuring adherence to credit policy.
  • Process Management: Manage the entire execution timeline, coordinating with external advisors (legal, Lenders, Insti Investors) and internal teams (legal, compliance, operations) to ensure efficient closing.
2. Product & Client Expertise:
  • Develop deep expertise in the nuanced needs of SME, MSME, and large corporate clients.
  • Structure bespoke solutions by blending different products from our suite (e.g., combining a term loan with supply chain finance).
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • 8-12+ years of experience in corporate banking (relationship management/structured finance), investment banking, or private credit/debt funds.
  • A proven track record of originating and closing transactions within the Indian SME & MSME segment, as well as with larger corporates.
  • Hands-on experience with the documentation and negotiation of term sheets, engagement letters, and fee letters.
  • Demonstrable experience in NCD/private debt deals, with a clear understanding of the credit process and rating considerations (BBB to AA).
  • Negotiation & Structuring: Superior negotiation skills and the ability to structure balanced, executable term sheets.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent ability to coordinate between clients, internal credit teams, and external advisors to drive consensus.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of corporate finance, accounting, and credit fundamentals to engage effectively with clients and credit analysts.
  • Bachelor's & or Masters degree in Finance, Commerce, or related field. An MBA or CA CFA qualification is highly preferred.
