Director of Sales
Location: Dubai
Reports To: SVP Sales

CredAvenue Spocto Technology Limited, a subsidiary of the Yubi Group, is seeking a highly motivated Director of Credit Market and AI Sales to join our growing team.As one of the fastest-growing fintech unicorns and the largest debt marketplace in India, Yubi Group is trusted by over 40+ leading banks and continues to expand its innovative solutions across various markets, including the UAE. We work with industry leaders to unlock the value of their data and enable them to make informed, data-driven decisions. As we expand our reach and capabilities, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales to lead our sales efforts, manage relationships with existing customers, and drive new business opportunities.

Role Overview:
As the Director of Credit Market and AI solutions, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales strategy and growth of our data-driven solutions. This includes managing and growing relationships with existing clients, identifying cross-sell opportunities, and leading business development efforts to acquire new customers. You will work closely with the product and marketing teams to understand customer needs and tailor solutions that drive success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Existing Client Accounts:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to understand their evolving business needs.

    • Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional Credit Market and AI products and services to existing clients.

    • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, escalations, and ongoing support.

    • Track client satisfaction and ensure all service level agreements (SLAs) are met.

  • Business Development & Lead Generation:

    • Develop and execute a business development strategy to target new clients in identified markets.

    • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities, including leads, referrals, and incoming inquiries.

    • Proactively prospect and engage potential customers to expand our client base.

    • Build a strong pipeline of potential new business, and lead sales efforts from initial discussions to contract negotiations.

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:

    • Collaborate with internal teams (product, marketing, and customer success) to design and implement sales strategies.

    • Provide insights and feedback from the market to inform product development and positioning.

    • Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, setting clear goals and KPIs to achieve sales targets.

    • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs and business challenges.

  • Cross-Sell and Upsell Opportunities:

    • Identify and capitalise on opportunities to expand service offerings to existing clients.

    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.

    • Monitor the competition and market trends to inform cross-selling and up-selling strategies.

  • Reporting and Forecasting:

    • Track and report on sales performance against targets, preparing forecasts and other sales reports.

    • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, revenue, and forecasts to leadership.

  • Sales Target Achievement:

    • Drive sales efforts to meet and exceed the 15M AOP target through strategic planning and execution.

    • Provide accurate and timely updates on sales activities, progress towards targets, and revenue forecasts

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in embedded finance and tech sales, business development, or a related role, with a proven track record of managing and growing client accounts.

  • Strong understanding of data-driven solutions, analytics, and SaaS offerings

  • Strong technical & product knowledge on software, databases, platforms services

  • Proficient in using CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), sales tools, and collaboration platforms like Jira, Asana, and Slack to manage projects, streamline communication, and enhance team coordination.

  • Proven track record of successfully generating leads, engaging prospects, and closing new business in a B2B environment.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to understand complex client needs and translate them into tailored solutions..

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate complex sales cycles.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.

  • Highly motivated with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work independently.
