The Sr. Manager learning and growth supports the establishment and execution of major academies – New Hire, Professional Skills, Management and leadership enabling the people strategy through the design and development of learning programs and initiatives that foster a culture of continuous learning. This role is focused on increasing Yubi’s talent density and the organization’s readiness through personal and professional growth and career development.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Execute the learning & growth strategic framework aligned with Yubi’s goals to cultivate exceptional talent that meets the current and future talent priorities of the organization.
  • Design, develop and execute the learning academies – New Hire onboarding, professional skills, leadership
  • Develop, maintain the digital learning play-book as a one stop shop repository of learning offerings, processes, policies for all employees
  • Collaborate with stakeholders within the people and culture org, learning advisory council to provide guidance, recommendations and to identify learning & growth needs and design targeted initiatives that foster capability build at the academies
  • Identify and implement assessment tools and methodologies to evaluate employee skills, competencies and potential and utilize data-driven insights to identify skills gaps and development opportunities with targeted initiatives.
  • Design, implement, monitor, and measure effective learning and development programs including but not limited to manager effectiveness, leadership development skills, soft skills, and career development initiatives through a variety of learning methods to meet the learning needs of a regionally diverse workforce.
  • Conduct learning needs analysis to create targeted learning initiatives to ensure the workforce remains capable of driving organizational goals and overall performance.
  • Design, implement and manage mentoring and sponsorship programs
  • Establish key learning metrics and reporting mechanisms to monitor and evaluate learning effectiveness and impact, provide regular updates to stakeholders highlighting progress, outcomes, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Utilize the learning management system for learning and content design and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Effectively manage the Learning budget, including learning education reimbursements.
  • Drive and embed the Yubi culture, values and leadership attributes through all learning activities.
  • Be the custodian of the learning engagement survey scores to determine the overall employee learning experience, identify areas of improvement and create techniques to enhance the experience.
  • Keep abreast of learning trends on new educational delivery techniques and methods.
  • Select, recommend, and manage development resources to deliver impactful learning and development programming.
  • Lead, coach, train and provide support and guidance to the HRBP, Operations team who will support with driving learning participation, and maintain training content completion and program feedback.

Requirements

13+ years’ experience in learning & development roles
Proven experience in designing and delivering learning initiatives for a regionally dispersed workforce.
Strong knowledge of learning principles, adult learning theories, and assessment tools.
Have developed/curated and delivered leading learning opportunities across diverse interests or constituents to create impactful “take home” value for participants.
Demonstrated transformational thinker through approach with people, learning and leadership.
Worked in a fast pace, agile environment; has the ability to pivot and successfully manage change.
Has a digital proficiency in current learning management systems.
Change Management experience is a plus.
Education Qualification -
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Organizational Development/Psychology, Education or a related field.
