Ad Operations Lead / Manager (Title DOE)
About Wildfire
Wildfire is not your typical fintech service provider. We power white-label rewards and loyalty programs for some of the world's leading financial institutions, helping banks, payment providers, and brands create engaging shopping and rewards experiences for millions of consumers.
Our platform combines affiliate marketing, advertising technology, and rewards infrastructure to drive measurable value for our clients, partners, and merchants. We're a remote-first team that thrives on collaboration, ownership, and solving complex problems in a fast-moving environment.
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Ad Operations professional to own the execution and optimization of advertising campaigns across Wildfire's growing network of enterprise partners.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and thrives in a startup environment where processes are still evolving. You'll work cross-functionally with Sales, Client Success, Merchant Development, Finance, Product, and external partners to ensure campaigns launch successfully, perform effectively, and generate revenue.
The right candidate is highly organized, technically curious, comfortable managing competing priorities, and able to adapt quickly when priorities shift.
What You'll Do
Campaign Execution & Management
- Own the end-to-end setup, trafficking, launch, and monitoring of advertising campaigns across Wildfire's partner network
- Coordinate campaign launches and ensure assets, tracking, approvals, and placements are completed accurately and on time
- Build and QA campaign tracking links using affiliate network and internal tracking requirements
- Monitor active campaigns and proactively identify delivery issues, discrepancies, or optimization opportunities
- Manage campaign pacing, inventory allocation, and placement scheduling
Revenue & Operational Management
- Manage insertion orders, campaign documentation, and revenue tracking
- Partner with Finance to support invoicing, payment reconciliation, and revenue reporting
- Maintain campaign records and ensure operational accuracy across systems
Performance Reporting & Optimization
- Analyze campaign performance and provide recommendations to improve results
- Create recurring and ad hoc reports for internal stakeholders and external partners
- Identify trends, opportunities, and risks within campaign performance data
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as a primary operational point of contact for advertising campaigns
- Coordinate with merchant partners, affiliate networks, and client-facing teams to resolve issues and ensure successful campaign execution
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to troubleshoot technical issues impacting campaign delivery
Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies and help build scalable processes as Wildfire continues to grow
- Create documentation, workflows, and best practices to improve operational excellence
- Contribute to the development of future Ad Operations strategy and team structure
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 3-7+ years of experience in Ad Operations, Affiliate Marketing, Performance Marketing, Digital Advertising Operations, or a related field
- Experience trafficking and managing digital advertising campaigns
- Strong understanding of tracking methodologies, attribution, campaign reporting, and performance metrics
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity and building processes where they don't yet exist
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in affiliate marketing, rewards, loyalty, fintech, or ad tech
- Familiarity with affiliate networks such as Impact, CJ, Rakuten, or Awin
- Experience working with enterprise clients or strategic partners
- Experience with Airtable, Zendesk, Notion, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms
- Experience at a startup, B2B, or other high-growth environment
- Previous experience mentoring team members or leading operational initiatives
What Success Looks Like
Within your first year, you will:
- Own campaign execution with minimal oversight
- Improve campaign launch accuracy and operational efficiency
- Build stronger processes around inventory management and campaign tracking
- Become a trusted partner to Client Success, Merchant Development, Finance, and external stakeholders
- Help shape the future direction of Wildfire's Ad Operations function
