The role
We are looking for a Data Analyst with 3-5 years of experience who is proficient in business intelligence and data visualization, particularly with Apache Superset or similar tools. The ideal candidate will be a SQL expert with a strong background in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industries. You should be a self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and experienced in startup environments. Your ability to translate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders will be crucial in driving our data-driven strategies.
Job Duties – What you’ll be doing
Data Analysis & Visualization:
-Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Apache Superset.
-Analyze complex datasets to provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes.
SQL Expertise:
-Write, optimize, and manage complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various sources.
-Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing thorough data validation and cleaning.
Business Intelligence:
-Design and implement business intelligence solutions that align with organizational goals.
-Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data needs and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
Healthcare/Pharma Domain Knowledge:
-Apply your understanding of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries to provide relevant insights and recommendations.
-Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and relevance.
Problem Solving & Technical Communication:
-Address and resolve data-related issues and challenges with innovative solutions.
-Clearly communicate technical concepts and data insights to non-technical stakeholders to drive business outcomes.

Requirements - What we look for in you
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on business intelligence and data visualization.
- Proficiency with Apache Superset or similar BI tools.
- Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and optimize performance.
- Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a track record of successfully navigating ambiguous situations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to business stakeholders effectively.
- Experience working in a startup environment or a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- A self-starter with a proactive approach to learning and professional development.

Travel Expectations
● This role would be expected to travel <10% to attend company gatherings, primarily in Chicago
Salary Range
Depending on your work location, skills and experience, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below.
