As a Facilities Associate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Facilities Manager and
Operations team with various maintenance and repair tasks. This position requires a strong commitment
to safety, teamwork, and attention to detail. You will ensure that the facility operates smoothly and
efficiently, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, functionality, and safety. This role is essential to the
overall operational success of our warehouse and distribution environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Ensures the Maintenance Department supports the needs of production by keeping all
  • production and facility equipment in proper working condition.
  • Work with downstream/secondary packaging equipment (case packers, wrappers,
  • palletizers, printers, conveyor systems, etc.)
  • Perform diagnostic evaluation on electrical and mechanical equipment and make repairs
  • when needed.
  • Strong assessment and troubleshooting skills (mechanical, electrical, and process) with
  • demonstrated and proven experience and background.
  • Ability to read and comprehend procedures and manuals
  • Experience with performing PMs and repairs
  • Strong mechanical aptitude - Being able to take apart an engine, knowing all parts, what
  • their purpose is, and how to put it back together with it working properly
  • Basic electrical knowledge - looking at a meter and being able to know if it is working
  • properly, knowing if something is on or off.
  • Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues
  • Basic knowledge of equipment to include pump systems, plumbing, and air compressors.
  • Ability to adherence to strict safety procedures
  • Interact with third party facility and maintenance vendors
  • Self-managing/ self-starter
What You’ll Need:
  • High School Diploma
  • Knowledge of general warehouse expectations for safety and teamwork.
  • Knowledge of basic hand and power tools. Safe and proper usage, right tool for the job.
  • Understanding of LOTO, PPE and other maintenance related safety items.
  • Aptitude and willingness to be certified to operate Ops related PIT.
  • Aptitude and willingness to operate maintenance related equipment such as scissor lifts, and ability to work aloft (35-40' high).
  • Good attention to detail and desire to perform tasks with an eye towards appearance of the finished product.
  • Good customer service skills (internal customers, trouble calls etc).
  • Other duties as assigned including working in operational roles

Bonus Points:

  • at least 1 year of maintenance experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Additional certifications related to facility maintenance or equipment operation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
