The Strategy Associate is a highly visible role that serves as a business liaison, program leader, and internal consultant across the organization. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with strong execution, operates effectively in ambiguous environments, and builds trusted relationships with leaders and stakeholders. You’ll partner closely with senior leadership to develop, communicate, and execute strategic plans. Day-to-day responsibilities are dynamic and evolve with business needs.What You’ll Do
Enable effective leadership and execution by:
Driving the creation of high-impact content for executive presentations and communications.
Providing an independent perspective as a sounding board and thought partner.
Documenting key strategies, initiatives, and projects; coordinating stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
Monitor progress and drive accountability by:
Participating in business/program reviews; surfacing insights, risks, and opportunities.
Tracking action items and ensuring timely follow-through across teams.
Leading ad-hoc deep dives with functional partners to resolve issues and inform decisions.
Owning cross-functional projects that need a single-threaded leader outside existing programs.
Increase organizational leverage by:
Orchestrating planning rhythms (e.g., MBRs, QBRs, strategic and resource planning) and leadership/board meeting agendas.
Acting as an internal consultant to teams on business problems and communications.
Establishing mechanisms for best-practice sharing and operating excellence across programs.
What You’ll Need
2–4+ years of experience working with senior executives or leadership teams.
Proven success navigating ambiguity and driving clarity and outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to influence across functions and lead without authority.
Strong program/project management skills; able to manage multiple initiatives with limited supervision.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High integrity, strong EQ, low ego; trusted advisor mindset.
BA/BS in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field (accredited).
Bonus Points
2+ years managing or mentoring technical or business staff.
Hands-on technical depth (e.g., systems, product, data) and/or strong business acumen.
Advanced analytics and reporting skills (Excel/Sheets, SQL/BI a plus).
MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
