What You'll Do
- Execute trades across stocks, bonds, and other securities based on instructions from the portfolio managers — efficiently, accurately, and always in line with each fund's investment objectives and guidelines.
- Stay glued to the markets — tracking trends, liquidity, news, and economic indicators so you're always on top of conditions and spotting potential opportunities.
- Handle cash flow management, margin reviews, and other implementations as they come up.
- Own the full order management process — receiving and recording orders, staying compliant with regulatory requirements and internal policies, and coordinating closely with compliance, risk, and operations.
- Work the tools — trading platforms and order management systems like Bloomberg EMSX/TSOX, algorithmic execution, and other tech to execute trades and monitor market data.
- Partner with operations on settlement — confirming trade details, coordinating with custodians and brokers, resolving discrepancies, keeping documentation and records clean, opening brokerage accounts, and negotiating trade terms.
- Provide administrative support and reporting as needed.
- 3–5 years as a dealer/trader at an asset management firm — you know how a buy-side desk actually runs.
- WPPE license required — you must hold a valid WPPE (Wakil Perantara Pedagang Efek) license.
- Hands-on with the systems — Bloomberg EMSX/TSOX, order management systems, and algorithmic trading tools.
- Strong market knowledge across equities, fixed income, and other securities — and a real feel for liquidity, market structure, and execution.
- Precise and disciplined — trades done right the first time, with clean records and full compliance.
- Solid grasp of the regulatory side — you understand the rules you're trading within and take them seriously.
- Cool under pressure — you can move fast and stay accurate when the market's moving faster.
- Detail-obsessed — in this seat, small errors are expensive, and you treat them that way.
- A strong communicator and coordinator — you're constantly working across compliance, risk, ops, brokers, and custodians, and you keep it all moving smoothly.
- Proactive and reliable — people trust you to get it done without being chased.
- A WMI (Wakil Manajer Investasi) license is a plus, but not required.
- Experience across multiple asset classes and markets.
- Familiarity with the Indonesian capital markets (IDX), plus awareness of global markets.
