We're looking for a Senior IT Operations Specialist with a strong background in the securities industry to own the stability and reliability of our trading systems. You'll lead real-time monitoring, incident response, and daily operational support — ensuring our platform runs seamlessly through every trading session. As a senior member of the team, you'll drive process improvements, mentor junior members, and make critical decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure trading systems and infrastructure are always available, and lead the response when production issues occur.
  • Manage daily operations from pre-market preparation to end-of-day (EOD) processes, including batch jobs and reconciliation.
  • Support internal teams with transaction inquiries, user access, application troubleshooting, and SQL-based reporting and data validation.
  • Support application deployments and maintain system access controls, audit logs, and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor connectivity with external market infrastructure and coordinate with engineering teams and vendors to resolve issues.
  • Develop and improve SOPs, identify automation opportunities, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years in IT Operations within a securities company or similar capital markets environment.
  • Hands-on experience with trading systems such as SAS, S21, or equivalent.
  • Good understanding of trading operational flows — order processing, settlement, reconciliation, and EOD.
  • Proficient in SQL (MySQL / SQL Server / PostgreSQL) including query optimization.
  • Familiar with networking principles, Windows Server, and infrastructure monitoring. Linux is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting, log analysis, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Familiar with capital markets regulatory ecosystem (e.g., stock exchange, clearing house, central depository).
  • Clear communication skills — able to write SOPs and incident reports.
  • Willing to work in rotating shifts covering market operation hours.
