We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting & Tax Crypto professional to join our Finance team. In this role, you will manage accounting, tax reporting, and financial controls for crypto-native products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all company transactions are accurately and completely recorded in accordance with PSAK and/or IFRS.
  • Prepare working papers and supporting documents for closing and audit purposes.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and regulatory (OJK) reporting.
  • Manage monthly and yearly closing processes in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Monitor and keep up to date with OJK and custodian regulations related to crypto assets in Indonesia.
  • Liaise with external and internal auditors.
  • Support audit processes and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.
  • Ensure company tax processes comply with applicable regulations.
  • Understand and manage crypto-related taxation in Indonesia.
  • Prepare and review monthly tax compliance, including VAT, withholding tax, and corporate income tax obligations.
  • Support tax audits, tax assessments, and tax dispute processes when required.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of general ledger, sub-ledger, and account reconciliations.
  • Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
  • Support the direct Supervisor/Head of Division/Team/Committee in ad-hoc tasks and project-based assignments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, audit, and/or taxation.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills are preferred.
  • Prior experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of PSAK and/or IFRS, including accounting treatment for crypto assets, digital asset custody, trading activities, and related transactions.
  • Strong understanding of OJK regulations and custodian requirements related to crypto assets in Indonesia.
  • Experience using accounting systems and ERP platforms, with a strong understanding of crypto transaction flows and accounting journal entries.
  • Good understanding of corporate and crypto taxation in Indonesia, including VAT, withholding tax, and tax reporting.
  • Familiarity with tax reconciliation, tax compliance, and tax reporting processes.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Good communication skills with auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
