We are seeking an experienced and strategic Risk & Fraud Management Lead to oversee and strengthen our crypto risk and fraud prevention function. This role will lead a team responsible for safeguarding the platform through effective risk monitoring, fraud detection, and operational controls across trading, transactions, and user activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the risk & fraud team, ensuring effective day-to-day monitoring of real-time alerts, investigations, and enforcement actions.
  • Define and drive the overall fraud prevention and risk management strategy across crypto operations.
  • Oversee investigations into suspicious accounts, transactions, and trading behaviors, ensuring timely and accurate decision-making (e.g., account suspension, withdrawal controls).
  • Guide the development and continuous improvement of fraud detection rules, risk frameworks, and monitoring systems.
  • Ensure effective handling and resolution of fiat deposit and withdrawal risks, in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor emerging risks, including market trends, regulatory developments, and project/token sustainability.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Security teams to strengthen risk controls, incident response, and system enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in risk management, fraud, compliance, or audit, with exposure to crypto or fintech environments.
  • Proven experience in leading or managing teams within risk, fraud, or operations functions.
  • Strong understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain, trading activities, and fraud typologies.
  • Experience in building or optimizing fraud detection systems, rules, and processes.
  • Familiarity with AML/KYC regulations and global standards.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, strategic thinker with the ability to balance risk and business objectives.
