Job Overview

Specright is looking for a driven, customer-centric Product Marketing Director to join our growing team. You'll roll up your sleeves and jump in to understand the needs of our customers and translate our products into impactful positioning and customer messaging. This is a critical cross-functional role, and you'll work closely with engineering, product, and sales to ensure alignment across all go to market initiatives and channels.

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Lay foundation of product marketing function at Specright to build the team in the future
  • Capture voice of customer & disseminate across the organization via customer stories
  • Identify, refine, and roll out key customer segments, personas and use cases (e.g. extended producer responsibility) and enable across sales, CS and engineer teams
  • Develop product positioning & messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas
  • Understand and document our buyer's journey, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make - then drive changes to our sales and marketing processes based on what you learn
  • Build relationship with product team to collaborate on overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap and be responsible for communicating across the entire organization
  • Work with the Web & Content teams to continuously optimize website content and user experience to drive engagement and improve conversion rates
  • Develop adoption campaigns in partnership with demand gen team focused on expanding existing customer usage of Specright and platform adoption
  • Partner closely with Sales Enablement to develop compelling sales collateral, tailored messaging, and training materials that resonate with our target buyers
  • Monitor key competitors and deeply understand our position in the market and develop messaging that enables us to win, partner with Sales Enablement on battlecard development
  • Plan the quarterly launches of new product features, and manage the cross-functional implementation of the launch plan
  • Develop content and collateral to support our sales team; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it
  • Develop product-based KPIs to increase customer engagement and retainment rates
  • Lead product packaging strategy and align with sales on pricing
  • Occasional travel to HQ to meet with product and engineer teams

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of product marketing experience in B2B enterprise SaaS
  • Ability to take complex concepts and break down simply for various audiences
  • Adaptability, curiosity, and growth-mindset
  • Ability to both drive high-level strategy and execute detailed plans
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, email and organizational skills
  • Ability to both see the big picture and be detail-oriented - a great writer, speaker, and listener
  • A drive for both personal and team success
  • Product Marketing Alliance Certification or Reforge Product Marketing certification ideal
