Business Intelligence Analyst III

Sift Healthcare is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst III to join our growing analytics team. This hire will work with our data science, product development, and technology teams to expand and enhance Sift’s suite of reporting tools.
This new role helps Sift maintain client-facing and internal dashboards and build and design new dashboards focusing on user experience. To this end, you will be expected to understand, organize and structure data in user-friendly and logical formats. The role will also provide ad hoc analysis and assist in delivering key metrics that drive value for Sift's clients and partners.
We are looking for a candidate with 3+ years of experience in an analyst or business intelligence role, with a bachelor’s degree in a related field. BI Tool (Sisense, Power BI, Tableau, etc.), UX and dashboard design, and SQL experience are required. Experience building, testing, or working with GenBI is preferred. Experience with healthcare or revenue cycle data is preferred. A Wisconsin resident is preferred for this role, but remote candidates will be considered.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enhance BI dashboards based on business-created specifications to drive efficiency in reporting and analysis – focused on UX and scalability
- Continuous Improvement of Sift’s current library of reports and dashboards
- Assist in dashboard data cube and data model QA
- Work with data engineers and product analysts to ensure format changes and client specifications are implemented correctly, accurately, and uniformly
- Assist in ad hoc analysis and report design for internal analysts and stakeholders
- Assist in documenting, testing, and utilizing Generative BI frameworks
QUALIFICATIONS
- Healthcare industry knowledge and data experience preferred
- Three (3) plus years of experience creating dashboards and ad hoc reports
- Experience in sourcing, organizing, and updating reporting data from the appropriate in-house database
- Ability to manipulate data and investigate issues
- Basic statistical knowledge and experience with advanced Excel formulas
- SQL experience is required
- Experience with a large-scale BI tool is required; experience with Sisense BI tool is a plus
- Experience building creative visualizations and dashboards utilizing existing widgets provided within the packaged software
- Ability to quickly switch priorities and work in a multi-project, fast-paced startup environment
- Diligent and motivated to work independently
- Strong communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
