The Company

At Shipday, we are arming the rebels in the local delivery space. Our mission is to democratize access to easy, affordable local delivery solutions for small businesses all over the world.

Shipday is transforming the way local merchants do business in a world increasingly driven by e-commerce. Since 2020, Shipday has powered millions of deliveries in 100+ countries globally.

The Role

We are looking for SDRs to join our growing sales team and help us expand Shipday's reach among small and mid-sized businesses.

This is a highly outbound-focused role. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential customers, understanding their delivery challenges, and creating qualified sales opportunities for our Account Executive team.

You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, early-stage environment where your ideas and feedback can directly influence our sales process and playbook.

The ideal candidate is competitive, curious, persistent, and comfortable picking up the phone. You don't need to have years of sales experience — we're looking for someone who is hungry to learn, motivated by results, and excited to build a career in technology sales.

Daily Activities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Prospecting and sourcing new business through cold calls, emails, and other outbound channels
  • Researching prospective customers and identifying businesses that could benefit from Shipday
  • Connecting with business owners, operators, and decision-makers
  • Conducting initial discovery conversations to understand prospects' delivery needs and challenges
  • Qualifying inbound and outbound leads
  • Scheduling qualified meetings and product demonstrations for Account Executives
  • Following up consistently with prospects throughout the sales development process
  • Working with Account Executives to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified opportunities
  • Working with channel partners to identify potential leads and new business opportunities
  • Maintaining accurate prospect and activity information in our CRM
  • Tracking key sales development metrics, including calls, emails, conversations, meetings booked, and qualified opportunities
  • Consistently meeting and exceeding activity and pipeline-generation goals

Why Join Now?

In the last two years, we have built a growing global business with customers in 100+ countries. Much of our growth has come through a strong product and partnerships.

Now, we're investing in building a scalable sales organization.

As one of our early sales hires, you won't just be executing a playbook — you'll have an opportunity to help build it. You'll work closely with sales leadership and the broader team to test messaging, identify what works, and help shape how Shipday approaches outbound sales.

This is an opportunity to join at an early stage and have a direct impact on our growth.

  • 6+ months of outbound B2B sales, BDR, SDR, or similar prospecting experience preferred
  • SaaS or technology sales experience preferred
  • Experience selling to or prospecting SMBs is a plus
