What this job can offer you
This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space in Employee Lifecycle Operations, by joining our Employee Lifecycle team.
As a Lifecycle Specialist (OHS), you will ensure that all activities related to the occupational health and safety of employees are performed effectively, compliantly, and on time across multiple countries supported by Remote. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and managing vendor partnerships, driving contract management processes, and be in charge of rolling out all events related to health and safety across the globe for Remote’s employees.
You will be reporting to Employee Lifecycle Manager.
What you bring
- Significant work experience in a digital environment
- BA/BS degree or equivalent.
- Progressive management plus required examiner experience within Workers’ Compensation insurance industry.
- Experience scouting, onboarding, and/or managing insurance partners and brokers
- Ability to quickly engage and support external employees and vendors across multiple countries
- Good analytical skills, ability to map processes
- Team player who works independently and communicates proactively and positively
- A growth and problem-solving mindset. You can shift tasks and priorities when circumstances change and do so quickly and effectively
- Writes and speaks fluent English.
- It is not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus
Key Responsibilities
Insurance Portfolio Management:
- Assist in the administration and management of the company’s global insurance programs specifically Worker Compensation insurance.
- Support the Director in the renewal process for various insurance programs, ensuring timely and accurate submissions and successful negotiations.
- Coordinate with brokers, insurers, and internal stakeholders to gather the necessary information and documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date records of insurance policies, certificates of insurance, and related documentation.
Risk Financing:
- Analyze and evaluate risk financing options to optimize coverage and cost-efficiency.
- Prepare and present recommendations on risk financing strategies to senior management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of risk management policies and procedures.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret insurance and risk management data.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for the Director and senior management.
- Identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with various internal departments and operating companies to identify and address insurance and risk management needs.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and external partners, including brokers, insurers, and regulatory agencies.
- Maintains current knowledge of related laws and regulation

We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive in various markets while we hiring globally.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $23,300 USD to $52,500 USD. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
