What this job can offer you
- Co-design, execute, deliver and manage the launch of the APAC content localization roadmap for Japan and Korea; partnering cross-functionally with Localization leadership; and APAC Growth and Sales teams.
- Ownership over the recruitment and training of Language Leads for Korean and Japanese languages, guiding them towards Remote’s goals in APAC, and successfully managing their work priorities and quality delivery.
- Creation of an alliance between our language service providers (LSPs) and Language Leads to ensure that the quality of work delivered meets the expectations of Remote and our customers.
- Opportunity to manage roadmapping for the development and optimization of localization tools, workflows and processes to enable scalability and drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to create and share all relevant documentation regarding the APAC launch in Notion.
- Ownership of operational metrics and KPIs to measure the success of localization efforts and process efficiency in the APAC region.
What you bring
- Native speaker of Japanese; writes and speaks fluent English.
- Localization experience, at least 5 years, in the online/tech space, preferable B2B.
- Experience working cross-functionally and stakeholder management.
- An understanding of localization challenges, workflows, tools, and assets, as well as the design and implementation of scalable localization solutions.
- Previous exposure to launching a new market.
- Experience in managing language contractors.
