As a Post-Onboarding Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that merchants comply with regulatory and internal standards during and after the onboarding process. You will be responsible for executing KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures, managing internal tickets, and supporting due diligence through detailed investigations and data gathering. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a proactive attitude toward risk identification and regulatory compliance.

Key responsabilities

  • KYC Execution: Execute end-to-end KYC procedures during merchant onboarding. This includes collecting, reviewing, and validating documentation to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Workflow & Ticket Management: Manage onboarding and post-onboarding processes through internal ticketing tools. This includes handling requests, tracking progress, and ensuring timely and accurate resolution of all tickets.
  • Data Gathering & Investigation: Conduct research using internal systems, external databases, and public sources. This includes gathering relevant merchant data, validating information, and supporting due diligence processes.
  • Due Diligence & Evidence Collection: Collect, analyze, and document evidence required for KYC reviews. This includes reaching out to merchants to request additional information when needed.
  • Policy Adherence & Monitoring: Ensure compliance with Global Sanctions and AML policies. This includes following internal procedures and staying up to date with regulatory changes and industry practices.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales and Compliance teams. This includes gathering required information, clarifying requirements, and supporting onboarding and risk evaluation processes.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in financial or administrative-related fields. This includes careers such as Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or similar.
  • Relevant 3+ years of experience in operational roles within banks or financial institutions. This includes identifying risk operations, fraud, and AML-related activities.
  • Excel Skills: Proficiency in Excel. This includes the ability to manage data, perform basic analysis, and support operational tasks.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities. This includes identifying issues, evaluating data, and proposing solutions.
  • English Level: Advanced English proficiency. This includes the ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken contexts.
  • Risk & Compliance Knowledge: Knowledge of KYC, credit risk, operational risk, reputational risk, fraud, and AML is an advantage. This includes understanding key concepts and their application in financial environments.
