Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support users with system problems.
- Responsible for helping DevOps set up systems.
- Monitors the support queue and assigns tickets.
- Monitors that the system is operating correctly.
- Responsible for change management execution.
- Responsible for stepping in if the system is not operating normally.
- Supports software developers in improving the operational environment.
- Help fix production issues and support the operations.
- Operates in compliance with security policy and security rules.
Requirements
- Relevant IT degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with system setup and configuration (supporting DevOps).
- Ability to fix production issues and support operations.
- Familiarity with change management processes.
- Experience with user support, ticket management, and queue monitoring.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Icelandic
