ABOUT PRECISION NEUROSCIENCE

Precision Neuroscience is building a next-generation brain–computer interface (BCI) to heal and empower millions of people living with neurological conditions.

Our first product, Layer 7, is designed to help people with severe paralysis operate digital devices using only their thoughts—opening up new possibilities for daily life.

Our team brings together experts in neurosurgery, AI and machine learning, microfabrication, electrical engineering, clinical science, and more. We combine deep technical rigor with a people-first mindset to turn breakthrough research into real-world medical solutions.

As a Precision employee, you’ll join one of the fastest-moving and best-capitalized companies in the emerging field of brain–computer interfaces. Since our founding in 2021, we have raised more than $180 million, advanced our technology through validation, and initiated human trials with leading hospitals across the country.

Our Values:

We build for human impact, measuring progress by the lives our work can change.

We do no harm, holding ourselves to the highest standards of safety, integrity, and responsibility.

We innovate with urgency because the stakes are high and our users can’t wait.

We bring sharp minds, open ears, pairing expertise with curiosity, humility, and respect.

And we lead the way, taking ownership of our work and helping to shape the future of our field.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead end-to-end product development for a strategic co-development partnership with a leading life science company, bringing a novel clinical decision support tool to neurosurgeons worldwide.

In this role you will sit at the intersection of cutting-edge neurotechnology and real-world surgical practice, owning the full product lifecycle from discovery through delivery on a first-of-its-kind platform that puts actionable, real-time brain mapping in the hands of neurosurgeons. You will work alongside world-class engineers, clinical scientists, and key opinion leaders to define and build a product at the frontier of neurotechnology.

This position will be based in one of our existing offices in Seattle, New York, Chicago or Santa Clara. We are unable to consider remote workers or individuals who are not currently based in the US and legally authorized to work in the US.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end product development lifecycle (PDLC) for a co-developed clinical decision support tool, from discovery and definition through requirements, development, and launch

  • Serve as the primary product point of contact with an external life science partner, aligning on scope, milestones, and deliverables across both organizations

  • Lead structured discovery with neurosurgeons, key opinion leaders, and clinical teams to deeply understand intraoperative workflows and unmet needs

  • Translate clinical and technical requirements into clear, actionable product specifications for internal engineering and design teams

  • Partner cross-functionally with hardware, software, regulatory, and clinical affairs teams to ensure the product meets both user needs and compliance requirements

  • Drive prioritization and roadmap decisions across two parallel workstreams, balancing partner commitments with internal resourcing

  • Facilitate alignment between internal stakeholders and external partners on shared deliverables, including co-developed software components

  • Track and communicate product progress, risks, and decisions to senior leadership and partner stakeholders

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in healthcare, medical devices, or a regulated life sciences environment

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-organizational product partnerships or co-development programs

  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows, preferably in neurosurgery, neurology, or intraoperative settings

  • Familiarity with hardware/software integrated products; experience with capital medical equipment or surgical platforms is a strong plus

  • Ability to write clear, detailed product requirements and translate between clinical, technical, and business stakeholders

  • Experience working within or alongside regulatory frameworks (FDA, CE, or similar) for medical device or SaMD development

  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust with both external partners and internal teams

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment with evolving priorities and high ambiguity

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in biomedical engineering, neuroscience, clinical science, or an MBA/MHA is a plus
