We are seeking a Communications Manager to lead and execute strategic communications efforts, helping to shape Precisions Neuroscience’s public presence and positioning.

In this role you will be instrumental in driving internal and external messaging, media relations, content creation, and executive communications to support our growth and industry leadership.

This position will be based in our New York City office. We are unable to consider remote workers or people not currently based in the United States, with working rights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an integrated PR and media strategy to enhance brand visibility (in partnership with Marketing)
  • Oversight and management of Precision’s relationship with external PR firm and branding agency
  • Build and manage relationships with journalists, media outlets, and key industry influencers.
  • Develop internal communication materials and initiatives, including: staff orientation and training materials, written company history, internal communication policies, executive updates.
  • Craft clear and consistent internal messaging regarding company news, strategy updates, policy changes, and cultural initiatives.
  • Works closely with Executive Leadership to craft Precision’s brand image, messaging, and determine the best methods and strategies for communicating with key audiences
  • Craft compelling blog posts, op-eds, white papers, and articles to highlight Precisions' expertise.
  • Oversight of all multimedia content including videos, podcasts, and social media as well as photo and videos shoots involving Precision team members to ensure results are consistent with Precision’s brand.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations, or marketing communications.
  • Experience working within a regulated industry (medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare strongly preferred).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex technical or clinical information into clear, concise, and compelling messages for diverse audiences.
  • Strong understanding of media relations, PR strategies, and crisis communication principles.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic communication plans.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with senior leadership.
