The Deal Desk Manager supports Phenom’s Account Management team by streamlining the quote, pricing, and contracting process. This role will work across multiple departments, including Account Management, finance, contracts, product management, and professional services to ensure deals are structured, approved, and closed efficiently and compliantly. They act as a liaison between these teams, optimizing deal flow and maximizing revenue generation.
What You’ll Do
- Deal Structuring and Approval: Partner with Account Management to create deal structure for upsell, cross-sell and renewal opportunities that meet both company objectives and customer needs, ensuring deals are financially sound and align with organizational goals. Guide the Account Management team through the internal approval process, navigating requirements and securing necessary approvals from various stakeholders.
- Quote Management and Pricing: Manage the quote-to-cash process, ensuring accurate pricing, proper documentation, and adherence to established policies.
- Contract Review and Compliance: The specialist reviews contracts, proposals, and other deal-related documents, ensuring they are accurate, compliant with company policies and legal requirements, and align with internal systems.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between Account Management, finance, contracts, product management, and professional services, facilitating communication and collaboration to resolve issues and move deals forward efficiently.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and improvement of deal desk processes, aiming to increase efficiency, accuracy, and speed of deal closures.
- Risk Management: Thoroughly vets deals for profitability, risk, and compliance, helping to avoid unprofitable or risky agreements and ensuring all deals meet company standards.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze deal data to identify trends, optimize pricing strategies, and provide insights for improving deal performance.
What You’ve Done
- Experience in HR Technology
- Experience in SaaS sales
- 5+ years of experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: The ability to analyze complex information, identify issues, and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with various stakeholders, build relationships, and work collaboratively.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills: Meticulous in managing and reviewing deal-related documents and ensuring accuracy.
- Knowledge of sales processes and contract management: Familiarity with the sales cycle, contract negotiation, and legal compliance.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant tools: Experience with systems like Salesforce, CPQ tools, and other relevant sales technologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: The ability to adapt to changing priorities, manage multiple deals simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

Salary
- Expected salary range $115,000 - $125,000
Please note the Salary range is subject to change in the future in accordance with Phenom’s policies
