At Phenom, we’re on a mission to help a billion people find the right work. To achieve this, we need razor-sharp, high-agency Technical Program Managers (TPMs) who thrive on complexity, drive clarity across cross-functional teams and deliver outcomes that scale.

As a TPM in our Engineering team, you’ll partner closely with executive leadership to drive the company’s Big Bets—key strategic initiatives that will define the future of Phenom. You’ll also work hand-in-hand with product managers, Principal Engineers, and developers to define technical roadmaps, solve hard problems, and deliver impact for our customers. You’ll lead initiatives that span multiple teams and systems, ensuring delivery excellence while keeping customer and platform experience at the forefront.

This is not a checkbox role. We are looking for doers and thinkers who are energized by impact and thrive in fast-paced environments.

What You’ll Do

Drive large-scale technical programs: Own and execute programs from concept to launch, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery.

Drive the company’s Big Bets: Partner with executive leadership to define and deliver Phenom’s highest-priority strategic programs.

Orchestrate cross-team collaboration: Align multiple engineering squads and stakeholders on common goals and drive integration points across systems.

Build for scale and resilience: Work with principal and senior engineers to design solutions that are robust, scalable, and aligned with Phenom’s vision.

Influence without authority: Communicate effectively with senior leadership, engineering, product, design, and business teams to remove roadblocks and accelerate progress.

Prioritize ruthlessly: Balance competing demands, manage dependencies, anticipate risks, and implement mitigation strategies without compromising quality.

Raise the bar: Establish and evolve program management best practices and bring a bias for action to the way we build software.

What You Bring

● 4-6 years proven success leading technical initiatives across multiple engineering teams, ideally in high-scale, product-driven environments.

● Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals—you don’t have to code, but you should know what good engineering looks like.

● Expertise in program/project management including scope definition, risk management, dependency tracking, and release planning.

● Experience operating within Agile environments and delivering iterative value at speed.

● Exceptional communication and storytelling ability—capable of influencing across all levels, from engineers to execs.

● Systems thinker: you see the big picture but know how to dive deep when needed.

Nice to Have

● Familiarity with data-intensive or AI-driven systems.

● Ability to adapt quickly to ambiguity and shifting priorities.
