Job Description Assistant Manager – Supply Chain

Role Overview:
PharmEasy is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Supply Chain to lead and control logistics performance, cost optimization, and operational efficiency at a regional level. The role involves strategic oversight of KPIs, rider capacity planning, and loss prevention to ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. End-to-End Logistics Control • Own and control YTD logistics loss (SR loss, damaged shipments, cash discrepancies) and ensure it remains below ₹50 Lakhs. • Conduct monthly loss audits and implement preventive controls. • Work closely with finance and warehouse teams for reconciliation and compliance.
2. Performance & KPI Governance • Monitor critical operational KPIs such as: o SDD & EDD adherence o Open Orders & backlog clearance o PNH reduction o CPO optimization
• Drive performance reviews with city and warehouse teams.
• Develop structured dashboards and review mechanisms.
• Ensure operational targets and SLAs are achieved consistently.
3. Cost Leadership & Rider Optimization
• Strategically reduce logistics cost by ₹20 Lakhs YTD.
• Lead rider capacity planning and workforce optimization.
• Improve productivity through route rationalization and shift efficiency.
• Identify automation and process improvement opportunities.
4. Team Leadership
• Manage city operations teams and supervisors.
• Drive accountability and ownership culture.
• Conduct regular training on loss control and KPI management.
Key Requirements:
• 2-5 years of experience in Supply Chain / Logistics Operations.
• Strong exposure to last-mile delivery and cost management.
• Proven experience in KPI-driven operations management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MIS reporting and data-driven decision making.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Logistics Loss maintained below ₹50 Lakhs YTD
• ₹20 Lakhs YTD logistics cost reduction
• Improved SLA adherence (SDD/EDD)
• Reduction in CPO and improved rider productivity
