We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Site Reliability/Infrastructure/ Devops Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will work across AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud platforms, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems. This role involves collaborating with development and operations teams to implement DevOps practices, automate processes, manage Kubernetes environments, and maintain infrastructure that supports our applications and services.
Senior Systems Engineer (L2)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, create, own, and maintain systems and service deployments in cloud and container architecture (AWS, Kubernetes)
- Continuously improve CI/CD & infrastructure for better reliability, observability, performance & scalability
- Contributing to important architectural and operational decisions like deployment techniques, monitoring, automation, forming best practices policies, etc.
- Work closely with engineering leaders and architects from multiple teams
- Leading incident response and postmortems
- Develop Infrastructure-as-code artifacts for re-use across the environments
- Ensure availability, performance, security, and scalability of production systems
Desired Skills:
- Engineering graduate with 2 - 5 years of experience as a DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer
- Deep understanding of at least one modern Linux distributions and its package management system. Should be comfortable at debugging and configuring operating systems
- Experience in writing BASH / SHELL scripts. Must be fluent at coding in at least one programming language (Preferably python or golang)
- Strong hands-on experience with one of the cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.
- Experience in managing applications on cloud at production scale. Must be familiar with Compute, Load Balancing, Auto Scaling, Databases, Networking and DNS services
- Should have experience in setting up and administering at least one CI / CD systems like Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Travis
- Proficiency with Kubernetes concepts such as Pods, Services, Deployments, Statefulsets, volume claims, Helm Charts. Experience with Docker, Docker Compose / Swarm.
- Infrastructure automation experience with knowledge of at least a few of these tools: Chef, Puppet, Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform, Packer
- Experience in at least one monitoring / alerting solutions like Prometheus, Zabbix, Nagios, VictoriaMetrics, Icinga or Elastic Stack
- Understanding of Web and its protocols like HTTP, SSL, TCP, DNS, etc.
- Strong understanding on System communication and various protocols like ARP, Switches, Routers etc.,
- Should be proficient in troubleshooting HTTP performance and availability issues
- Any experience with managing high scale Kafka, Elasticsearch clusters, self-hosted databases, ArgoCD, Hashicorp Vault, Grafana would be a plus
- Team player, excellent problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies a must
