This role will excel at engaging our various audiences throughout their journeys with Pendo, and serves as a cornerstone of our cross-channel marketing strategy. This position will help ensure that we deliver targeted, timely, and effective communications across mediums (including email, in-app messaging, and more) to engage our audience. This role is crucial for driving consistent pipeline growth, increasing product adoption and retention, and maximizing customer lifetime value.
Your mission will be to manage the strategy, and measurement of omnichannel campaigns in partnership with our various channel owners. You’ll define how, when, and what will be communicated to our audience through owned channels like email and in-product messaging to drive desired business outcomes and develop best practices for continual measurement of and improvement in GTM tactics. This will be a high-visibility role and you’ll work closely with our demand, marketing operations, and product teams to bring programs to life. A keen eye for data and experimentation is critical, while empathy for and understanding of our customers and prospects at each stage are paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a scalable, automated Lifecycle Marketing strategy that focuses on the entire customer journey, from initial contact to post-purchase retention and loyalty.
- Establish a Lifecycle Marketing framework with clear roles, responsibilities, and SLAs across the team.
- Establish the Center of Excellence for our multi-channel audience acquisition strategy.
- Manage a strategic roadmap leveraging automation, tools, and data to achieve growth and engagement goals.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team (one direct report to begin), fostering a data-driven culture.
- Drive campaign strategies to deliver relevant customer insights and enhance product success.
- Optimize lifecycle stages to improve adoption, engagement, and retention.
- Build strong partnerships with stakeholders across demand, creative, and product teams.
- Develop and maintain a testing and experimentation framework to continuously improve campaign performance and customer experience
- Utilize Pendo to personalize user experiences and understand behavior.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years in lifecycle, email, or activation marketing.
- Proven track record of improving customer engagement and retention.
- Expertise in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo).
- Experience with in-app messaging platforms (Pendo preferred).
- Experience with product-led growth (preferred).
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Solid understanding of data infrastructure.

Compensation
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.
The expected salary range for this role to be performed each location is as follows:
- Raleigh: $155,00 - $192,800
- New York, NY: $162,200 - $202,500
Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
