The Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Security Technical Program Manager to drive impactful initiatives within our organization. Reporting to the CISO, you will be responsible for leading and executing critical projects, collaborating with security teams and cross-functional departments, and ensuring the successful delivery of next-generation products. Your Day-to-Day Role

Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Oversee the development and execution of initiatives to enhance security practices and processes, expand existing lines of defense, and launch and operationalize new methods.
  • Execute strategic planning, create, manage, and report on the roadmap.
  • Own program Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to track progress and drive continuous improvement.
  • Drive strategy and execution with minimal direction.

Project and Program Management

  • Manage the entire lifecycle of programs with intense ownership.
  • Identify priorities, define projects and associated milestones to deliver towards our OKRs.
  • Support all facets of the Security department, including functional and technical areas, to ensure appropriate allocation of resources, solve scheduling and prioritization conflicts, and manage dependencies.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, including resource allocation, cost estimation, and expense tracking.
  • Baseline and accelerate the productivity of our teams

Communication and Relationship Building

  • Build trusted relationships with the Program Leads and Senior Leadership Team, surfacing major wins, risks, and challenges.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication among project stakeholders, including project teams, executives, and external partners.
  • Manage program communication plans and operating models to ensure alignment of strategy and execution.
  • Support momentum through dashboards and reporting tools, providing insights into delivery and business performance.

Risk and Dependency Management

  • Maintain and monitor key project and program-level dependencies, risks, and issues
  • Develop mitigation strategies and drive continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of excellence and innovation within the team.
  • Manage SLAs and OLAs (Operational Level Agreements) to ensure that service levels are met or exceeded, and escalations are addressed promptly.
  • Define project metrics and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to track progress, identify trends, and measure the success of project outcomes.

Your Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in technical project management, with a proven track record of driving large-scale software projects.
  • 2-3 years of experience working with and/or building out security programs.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, with experience in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate risks, identify issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Experience managing cross-functional project teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to achieve common goals.
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams and vendor delivery teams.

Important Details

This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will work out of our Englewood Cliffs, NJ office a minimum of 3 days per week to maximize collaboration and interaction with the business. Travel may be required.
