About the Role
The Revenue Operations Marketplace Strategy & Operations team is responsible for the design, implementation, and operation of Hyperscaler Marketplaces at Salesforce. We are seeking an experienced Marketplace Operations Analyst to own the execution of day-to-day Cloud Marketplace operations.
Hyperscaler Marketplaces are a top company priority and one of the primary drivers of growth for Salesforce. In this role, you will be responsible for executing marketplace transactions, primarily supporting the EMEA and APAC regions, and helping scale our presence on AWS, Google Cloud, Snowflake, and Anthropic Marketplaces.
Responsibilities
Marketplace Operations & Execution
Manage the Private Offer lifecycle, including deal eligibility validation, Private Offer creation, sales support, and post-acceptance activities.
Act as the subject matter expert on complex billing scenarios and marketplace transaction mechanics.
Serve as the primary operational point of contact for Sales,
Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements to reduce manual transaction work.
Support geo-expansion initiatives, including testing and operationalizing new currencies, transaction types, and billing models.
Systems & Product Collaboration
Contribute to the future-state design of Marketplace tools, processes, and automation.
Participate in requirements gathering, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and release management for Marketplace system enhancements.
Collaborate with technical teams to help align Marketplace operations with direct selling models and systems.
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
2+ years of relevant experience in operations, business analysis, Quote-to-Cash, or related operational fields.
Deep understanding of the Quote-to-Cash (QTC) lifecycle.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a curious mindset and demonstrated ability for critical thinking.
Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities and high transaction volumes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Strong organizational capabilities with experience working on cross-functional initiatives.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively support sales teams and external partners.
Partnerships, Sales Operations, Revenue Recognition, Deal Desk, Legal, and other cross-functional partners on Marketplace questions.
Ensure operational rigor and extreme attention to detail across all Marketplace transactions.
Assist with customer questions regarding the logistics of buying through Cloud Marketplaces.
Partner with Finance to track disbursements, reconcile marketplace fees, and ensure accurate revenue recognition.
Execute and support scalable processes designed to handle rapid growth in deal volume.
Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, playbooks, and enablement materials for internal stakeholders.
