Overview of the Role:

The Product and Pricing Operations Manager role is part of our MuleSoft Product team, working across Product, Finance, and Sales to scale pricing strategy and build the operational infrastructure that supports our product evolution and monetization. We're looking for someone who can translate data into decisions, lead go-to-market readiness, and bring a bias for action to a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Product, Pricing Strategy, and Sales to develop and optimize pricing and packaging strategies for new and existing products.

  • Conduct pricing performance analysis, customer segmentation, competitive benchmarking, and structured market research to inform pricing decisions.

  • Lead the New Product Introduction (NPI) process for MuleSoft, coordinating go-to-market readiness including pricing configuration, SKU creation, and cross-functional internal enablement.

  • Build and maintain pricing dashboards that incorporate AI-driven forecasting and anomaly detection to surface pricing leakage and usage trends.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years in pricing, product operations, strategy, or business operations, preferably in tech or Software as a Service (SaaS).

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with expertise in Excel or Google Sheets and familiarity with SQL or business intelligence (BI) tools.

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, manage multiple priorities, and drive alignment across Product, Finance, and Sales.

  • Familiarity with product lifecycles, monetization mechanics, and operational systems such as Salesforce, Configure Price Quote (CPQ), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience pricing subscription or usage-based products.

  • Proficiency in leveraging generative AI tools to accelerate market research, draft pricing documentation, and automate routine operational tasks.

  • Strategic mindset with a track record of proactively identifying opportunities to use automation and AI to improve operational efficiency.
