Description

Global Tools & AI Orchestration

Role Description

Salesforce Professional Services is building a centralized CoE to standardize how deals are scoped, estimated, and delivered globally.

This role is responsible for building the tools and AI agents that make this possible.

You will design, build, and scale a set of internal tools (AI agents + workflows) that help field team:

Scope faster

Estimate more accurately

Reduce risk

Follow global standards automatically

You are not just defining ideas—you are building working systems that the field uses daily.

What You Will Do (Core Responsibilities)

1. Build and Own the Agent Ecosystem

Design and build a set of AI agents (scoping, estimation, risk, etc.)

Ensure they work together as a single system

Continuously improve based on real deal and delivery data

2. Design End-to-End Workflows

Define how agents interact across the lifecycle:

Intake → Scope → Estimate → Review → Approve

Ensure smooth hand-offs between agents and humans

Reduce manual steps and rework

3. Turn Business Logic into Automation

Convert scoping rules, estimation models, and governance policies into working tools

Ensure outputs are:

Consistent

Accurate

Easy to use by the field

4. Build Data & Feedback Loops

Connect delivery data into centralized data source (e.g. Data Cloud)

Track:

Estimate vs actual

Margin vs plan

Use this data to improve agents over time

5. Automate Governance

Build tools that automatically:

Check estimates against standards

Flag risks early

Enforce approval rules

6. Work Closely with Field and GDC Teams

Partner with consultants to understand real challenges

Work with Global Delivery Centers (GDC) based team to build and scale solutions

Ensure tools are practical and adopted globally

7. Partner with Salesforce Product & Engineering

Use latest platform capabilities (e.g. Agentforce, Data Cloud)

Provide feedback to improve platform features

Ensure internal tools stay aligned with product roadmap

Cross-Functional Collaboration

You will collaborate closely with peer organizations to ensure tools and agents are aligned with real delivery needs and adopted globally:

GDC (Global Delivery Centers):

Co-develop tools and automation components. Ensure agents support offshore delivery models and scale effectively across regions.

Practices:

Work with practice leaders to embed product and industry-specific logic into agents and workflows.

Delivery Innovation:

Leverage and integrate new technologies, accelerators, and AI capabilities into the CoE tool ecosystem.

Governance:

Build tools that align with global compliance, risk, and approval requirements, ensuring governance is automated and enforced.

What Success Looks Like

Estimation time reduced by 30–50%

Consistent scoping across regions and OU

Fewer scope gaps and change orders

Better margin predictability

High adoption of tools by the field

Minimum Requirements (Simplified)

12–15 years in technical architecture, engineering, or consulting

Hands-on experience building or working with:

AI/agent-based systems

Data platforms

Integration architectures

Strong understanding of Salesforce platform (multi-cloud)

Experience turning business problems into scalable tools

Experience working with global teams (including offshore/GDC)

Ability to lead technical teams and still stay hands-on

What Kind of Person Succeeds Here

Builds, not just designs

Thinks in systems and workflows, not isolated tools

Comfortable working with both:

Engineers

Consultants / business teams

Focused on solving real problems, not building “cool demos”

Can simplify complexity and make tools easy to use

A Day in the Life

A typical day involves reviewing how your estimation agents performed on recent deals, fixing gaps in how they handle complex scenarios, and working with field teams to understand where they are still struggling. You might design a new workflow to reduce manual effort in scoping, collaborate with GDC engineers to build or improve an agent, and test changes in a sandbox before rolling them out. You also track whether the tools are actually being used and improving outcomes, and adjust quickly if they are not.
