The Product Strategy Lead at Salesforce C360 Apps & Industries is responsible for collaborating with product leadership and GMs to influence and develop product and market strategies. This involves leading internal strategy projects that inform executive decision-making regarding new and emerging product and market segments.

The role requires staying up-to-date on key industry developments, trends, and their implications for the business, as well as providing regular updates to senior leadership. Additionally, the Product Strategy Lead defines and implements value propositions, builds market POVs for key solution areas, and leads work streams at a cross-functional level.

Key Responsibilities & Impact

As a product strategy Lead, your job responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing key market and technology trends through deep research to determine their impact on relevant product segments and verticals.

  • Identifying whitespace opportunities to grow the addressable market by leveraging the strategic moat around AI, data, and automation.

  • Conducting ecosystem and market analyses to inform roadmap investments, collaborating with product leaders to define best-in-class products as part of an ongoing innovation cadence.

  • Supporting and informing inorganic growth opportunities via "build-versus-buy" assessments based on rigorous product due diligence.

  • Creating best-in-class product collateral that outlines the latest innovations, key product differentiators, and associated business value.

  • Preparing executive-grade investment cases for new product initiatives, covering market opportunities, key technology and GTM success factors, inorganic opportunities, detailed revenue/cost projections, and ROI estimates.

  • Supporting long-range planning and strategy in close partnership with industry leadership.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4-8 years of relevant work experience in business consulting/advisory profile or an internal strategy role with a reputed firm

  • Good understanding of the business technology and CRM space

  • Strong business research and analytical skills

  • Financial analysis and modeling capabilities

  • Strong Storyboarding / Powerpoint skills

  • Excellent organizational, written, communication, and presentation skills to present to cross-functional and senior leadership teams

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

  • Adaptability to change in fast-paced and high-pressure environments

  • Strong business and technology acumen

  • Experience working with leadership and matrixed teams

  • Proficiency in Google Suite applications, including Google Slides, Google Sheets, and documents
