Description
The Senior Contracts Analyst’s main responsibility will be to support Salesforce sales, alliance, professional services, procurement and other relevant organizations in Japan, South Korea and Taiwan in structuring commercial transactions, and drafting and negotiating commercial and procurement agreements. More specifically, the Senior Contracts Analyst will:
Draft, review and negotiate main services agreements, order forms, professional services agreements, statement of work, non disclosure agreements and other types of commercial agreements between customers or partners and Salesforce or its acquired entities in support of sales and other relevant organizations in Japan, South Korea and Taiwan;
Draft, review and negotiate standard purchasing agreements, global services agreements, hosted services agreements, statements of work, purchase orders, sponsorship agreements, non disclosure agreements and other types of procurement agreements with suppliers in support of procurement and other relevant organizations in Japan
Review questions from existing and potential customers, partners and suppliers about existing contracts and give appropriate interpretations and answers;
Handle customer, partner and supplier complaints and potential disputes in partnership with internal stakeholders to achieve resolution;
Partner with revenue recognition, sales operations, pricing, and other stakeholder teams to ensure agreements are consistent with internal corporate policies and processes;
Team up with other members within legal & corporate affairs organization to optimize support to the business and obtain any required approvals from internal stakeholders;
Assist with localizing and improving standard form agreements and legal processes that are customized for Japan, South Korea and Taiwan;
Provide client education and training on relevant legal issues;
Participate in cross-regional team projects; and
Actively contribute to the Japan, South Korea and Taiwan Commercial Legal team’s ongoing development of knowledge, skills and processes.
Required Experiences and Skills
3 or more years of combined experience in law firm and/or in house legal department including experience negotiating and drafting agreements
Practical business judgment and a keen understanding that the business teams rely on your expertise and efficiency to close the deal

Desired Experiences and Skills
Substantial experience in supporting sales organization as an internal client
Experience working for a global technology company
Familiarity with Japanese laws and regulations applicable to web applications/cloud computing/AI business
