Description
Salesforce Revenue Cloud is looking for a talented Senior Product Manager to join our high-impact Configurator team. The Configurator is the core engine of our CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) solution, enabling customers to manage complex product logic and business rules with high performance. You will join an established team of Product Managers and Directors, contributing to the strategic scaling of our configuration technology.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of the "agentic era," focusing on scaling our existing configuration engines to support the world’s largest enterprises. You will also play a key role in integrating AI/LLM technologies to transform rules authoring and enable prompt-based guided configuration experiences.
Responsibilities
Team Collaboration: Join an existing team to execute the long-term vision for Revenue Cloud’s configuration capabilities.
Internal & External Collaboration: Work across internal Revenue Cloud workstreams, including Catalog, Pricing, and Transaction Management, to ensure a seamless end-to-end customer journey.
Cross-Cloud Partnership: Partner with consuming industry clouds, such as Insurance, Communications, and Manufacturing, to deliver specialized configuration capabilities for diverse business needs.
Product Scaling: Focus on scaling and optimizing the Configurator to meet the performance and complexity requirements of enterprise customers.
AI Integration: Support the development of AI-powered features for rules and constraints authoring, simplifying complex administrative tasks.
Guided Configuration: Contribute to building next-generation, prompt-based guided product configuration experiences leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs).
Execution Excellence: Manage critical segments of the product lifecycle from discovery to delivery, working closely with Engineering and UX.
Customer Engagement: Engage with strategic customers to ensure our configuration engine solves their most complex business problems.
Required Qualifications
Configurator Expertise: A MUST-HAVE track record of working with complex configurators, specifically those utilizing rules-based or constraint-based engines.
AI/LLM Understanding: Experience with or a strong understanding of AI-powered products, including ML and LLM concepts and their practical applications in a product context.
SaaS Product Management: Extensive experience as a product owner leading agile teams at a technology company over multiple product lifecycles.
Technical Depth: Ability to partner with engineering on architectural scaling and complex logic systems.
Strategic Communication: Strong ability to communicate technical roadmaps and product value to both internal stakeholders and external customers.
A related technical degree required.
Preferred Qualifications
Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in configuration within the High-Tech or Manufacturing sectors.
Domain Expertise: Background in CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) or Quote-to-Cash processes.
Salesforce Ecosystem: Working knowledge of the Salesforce platform and its application interfaces.
In office expectations are 36 days/a quarter to support customers and/or collaborate with their teams.
