Overview of the Role:

We are looking for an Account Executive to join Salesforce's high-growth Data Cloud business, sitting within the wider Data & AI organisation. In this specialist role, you will drive strategic Data Cloud opportunities across key UK financial services accounts, partnering closely with enterprise account teams to accelerate adoption and revenue growth. This is a high-visibility position within one of Salesforce's fastest-growing business units, offering the opportunity to shape cutting-edge customer data and AI transformation initiatives for some of the UK's most important financial institutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive and progress strategic Data Cloud opportunities across major UK financial services accounts by qualifying deals, leading use-case workshops, positioning solutions, and influencing complex enterprise sales cycles alongside core account teams

  • Partner with Core Account Executives across the territory to identify, shape, and advance high-value Data Cloud opportunities, bringing deep data-platform expertise into matrixed account environments

  • Accelerate customer adoption and consumption of Data Cloud solutions, helping enterprise banking clients modernise their customer data and AI capabilities through Salesforce's Data 360 strategy

  • Support revenue growth across new business, customer adoption, and expansion, with performance measured across Annual Contract Value, consumption, and New Non-Order Value targets

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven enterprise sales experience at a senior Account Executive level, with a track record of selling data, AI, or Customer Data Platform solutions into large, complex organisations

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and influence matrixed enterprise account environments, including large internal and external stakeholder groups

  • Experience working with major financial services customers and managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles in a specialist or overlay capacity

  • Strong data and cloud platform acumen, including familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (CDP) or lakehouse providers

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling against or working within CDP competitors

  • Ability to lead use-case workshops and facilitate complex opportunity qualification and objection handling in a specialist overlay model

  • Experience ramping quickly into strategic accounts with active renewal cycles or near-term revenue opportunities

  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence enterprise account teams without owning the primary customer relationship
