Overview of the Role

The Product GTM & Growth Strategy team is part of Salesforce's Product organization, and partners with Product Management executives to drive business growth, Go-To-Market execution, strategic planning, business analysis, and growth across our product portfolio. The Manager role is a hybrid of traditional roles in strategic planning, sales strategy, finance, analytics and programs – requiring a mix of market & business analysis, sales optimization, and business operational support.

This individual will take responsibility for driving the continued success of Salesforce by supporting product GTM for our Agentforce portfolio. They will work on a variety of global projects across functions and customer segments, including the launch and nurture of our newest AI-powered innovations. Sample strategic projects include developing recommendations on go-to-market strategy, customer segmentation, sales coverage, operationalizing programs and investment prioritization. Operationally, the focus will be on forecasting, market sizing, growth trend analysis, sales pipeline analysis, business performance tracking, and formulation of actionable recommendations. This person must feel comfortable interacting with senior management on a regular basis.

Deliverables include detailed analytic models, custom performance analysis, building a scalable reporting infrastructure, and packaging findings into presentation-ready content for Salesforce executives. The role requires interaction with multiple functional teams (such as Sales, Solutions, Product Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Success) and provides significant exposure to senior executives. The successful candidate will have relentless curiosity and a passion for creating innovative analysis to identify opportunities. They will be comfortable diving into large datasets, excel at extracting insights from data, and converting ideas to action.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Agentforce Product executives on day-to-day operations, strategic planning, GTM execution, and other key projects. Manage executive stakeholders and enable timely decision-making. Drive complex programs with effective use of both async communications and live meetings.

  • Become the subject matter expert across the Agentforce portfolio, performing thorough data analysis to support and progress key business decisions. Conduct rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis.

  • Lead ongoing analysis of business performance to support daily operations and maintain weekly forecasts of business performance for product leadership.

  • Design and interpret key performance metrics. Deliver insights and recommendations.

  • Develop and deliver presentations for senior executives, crafting compelling messages for sales and product leadership.

  • Support strategic initiatives including evaluating areas of opportunity for the Agentforce business.

  • Troubleshoot operational issues as they surface; propose changes to systems and processes to fix root causes.

  • Prepare analysis and recommendations for strategic decision-making.

Desired Skills/Experience

  • 5+ years of work experience focused on quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and logical reasoning

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university

  • Self-starter with a high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills: demonstrated ability to structure complex problems and develop solutions

  • High degree of comfort running complex analyses and modeling in Excel or Google Sheets

  • Strong presentation skills, especially related to building compelling PowerPoint or Google Slides presentations

  • Experience aggregating large datasets using SQL, Python, and/or Tableau required

  • Work experience in management consulting, finance, product management, sales strategy, solutions, or sales operations is a plus

  • Familiarity with AI, autonomous agents, or enterprise software ecosystems is a strong plus
