The Mission: Marketing is undergoing its biggest shift in decades. We are helping Austrian businesses move to the Agentic Enterprise with Next-Gen Marketing Cloud, where autonomous AI agents and human marketers drive customer success together.
We are looking for a Specialist Account Executive to lead this transformation across Enterprise and Key accounts in Austria, acting as the strategic overlay to our Core Account Executives. You do not just sell a product; you sell a new way of engaging customers through real-time personalization, connected workflows, and autonomous AI.
Your Role: The Marketing Strategy Lead
You are the Subject Matter Expert. While the Core AE owns the broad customer relationship, you own the Marketing domain.
Drive the Strategy: You partner with Core AEs to identify digital marketing, data, and customer engagement opportunities within their accounts. You provide the deep expertise needed to unlock these deals.
Sell Agentforce Marketing: You articulate how our Next-Gen Marketing Cloud uses autonomous AI agents to orchestrate campaigns, personalize moments, and drive real two-way conversations across all channels.
Orchestrate the Win: You lead the Marketing-specific deal cycle. You coordinate Solution Engineers, Customer Success, BDRs, and Partners to prove value and close the business.
Build the Pipeline: You analyze your territory to find untapped potential in digital marketing, CRM, data orchestration, and customer experience operations.
Who You Are: We hire for potential and expertise, not just a specific job title. We are looking for one of these four profiles:
The SaaS Seller: You have sold complex SaaS solutions. You bring a deep understanding of the marketing landscape or have a proven track record of selling Marketing Technology (MarTech) to enterprise clients.
The Presales Expert: You come from a Presales or Solution Engineering background for marketing solutions. You know how to design the technical vision and are now ready to pivot into a commercial Account Management role.
The Industry Practitioner: You come from the business side. You have managed a marketing function, led a marketing transformation project, or managed MarTech on the client side. You understand the buyer’s pain because you used to be the buyer, and now you want to bring that expertise to the vendor side.
The Ecosystem Expert: You come from a Salesforce implementation partner or System Integrator. You bring deep, hands-on knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and want to leverage that technical and consulting expertise directly at Salesforce.
What You Bring:
Native/Fluent German and English: Mandatory for this market.
Consultative Mindset: You can explain complex AI concepts, data strategies, and MarTech architectures to a CMO or C-Level executive in simple business terms.
Collaboration Skills: You thrive in a matrixed team setting. You know how to build trust with internal partners and navigate large enterprise buying groups to drive a joint strategy.
Resilience: You can manage multiple active cycles, maintain accurate forecasting discipline, and prioritize your time effectively.
