Mulesoft Small Medium Business Account Executive
Overview of the Role
The SMB Prime Account Executive role is part of MuleSoft's sales team at Salesforce, where you will help small and medium-sized businesses grow using the full Salesforce Customer 360 Platform. As a trusted partner, you won't just sell AI agents — you'll work alongside them to connect with business leaders, solve real problems, and drive revenue from pipeline to close. This role is based in Atlanta, GA, San Francisco, CA or Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities
- Connect with business leaders to understand their challenges and show how MuleSoft and Salesforce can help them grow
- Build and manage a pipeline of new and existing customers, from first conversation to closed deal
- Partner with C-suite decision-makers to match their business needs to the right solutions across multiple lines of business
- Collaborate with a large internal team — including solution engineers and product experts — to build winning strategies for your customers
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a customer-facing sales role, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and simply
- Experience working directly with clients or customers in a professional setting
- Ability to work cross-functionally and navigate a large extended team
Preferred Qualifications
- 2-5 years of full-cycle sales experience, with at least 1 year in a field sales role and a proven track record of hitting goals
- Experience selling to senior leaders and C-suite executives
- Ability to build a business case and demonstrate clear return on investment (ROI) to customers
- Experience managing and growing both existing accounts and new logo relationships
