Job Summary
The Competitive Intelligence (CI) Team is looking for a strategic and analytical professional to lead Competitive Intelligence for our Commerce Cloud business. This is a high-impact role based in India with a global remit, helping to shape the market position and sales success of our B2B and B2C commerce platforms worldwide.
The ideal candidate is a proactive researcher and storyteller who can transform complex competitive data into actionable insights. As this role supports a global organization, the successful candidate should be comfortable collaborating across international time zones, including occasional flexibility for syncs with stakeholders on the US West Coast.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with executive leadership and the Commerce Cloud Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to refine our competitive positioning.
- Sales Enablement: Create high-quality tactical tools - including battlecards, field guides, and FAQs - to help global sales teams win.
- Market Monitoring: Research and articulate the strategies of key competitors in the commerce space (e.g., Shopify, Adobe/Magento, BigCommerce).
- Trend Analysis: Identify emerging shifts in the digital commerce landscape to help inform our product roadmap and go-to-market strategies.
- Executive Presence: Present findings to senior leadership and provide real-time deal support for high-priority global sales opportunities.
Skills and Experience
- General Experience: Experience in enterprise SaaS (e.g., Competitive Intelligence, Management Consulting, Sales Engineering, or Product Marketing).
- Domain Knowledge (Preferred): Familiarity with e-commerce, Digital Experience Platforms (DXP), or retail technology is helpful but not required.
- Strategic Capability: Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn market signals into clear, persuasive sales messaging.
- Communication: Exceptional writing and presentation skills; ability to simplify technical concepts for a sales audience.
- Global Mindset: Experience working in a global environment and navigating different regional business cultures.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (MBA preferred).

- Global Scope: This is an India-based role with a global remit, supporting stakeholders and sales teams across multiple international regions.
- Flexible Collaboration: While based in India, the role requires the ability to periodically align schedules for meetings with US-based product and leadership teams (Pacific Time). We value work-life balance and focus on outcomes over specific "clock-in" times.
