About the Opportunity:
We are looking for an ambitious, self starting sales executive to join our Commercial Team, covering a patch of Tableau and Salesforce existing customers with the core focus of making more of their employees successful with analytics.
Your responsibilities:
Craft detailed account plans for each customer to identify new sales and account expansion opportunities within Commercial accounts. Mapping each account to identify your target prospects and stakeholders.
Partner with internal teams to build a road map and strategic plan for each account, bringing them into the sales process whenever possible
Work to close new business and expand existing footprints
Prospect for new opportunities and growing our existing footprint to drive enterprise license agreements. You will be handling several sales opportunities of varying deal values.
Use your outstanding relationship-building skills to develop meaningful business relationships with key partners and influencers, driving value-led conversations to articulate Tableau’s impact on these organisations
Work in tandem with your Salesforce counterparts across other lines of business, including and collaborating with them on joint opportunities

Growth-Focused Account Manager
You have 5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience, ideally in technology or SaaS, working with mid-market / commercial customers . You’re skilled at spotting opportunities to expand usage, introduce new use cases, and grow footprint within existing customers—and where there’s whitespace, you're ready to land it.
Strategic Navigators
You know how to map accounts, build strong multi-threaded relationships, and align Tableau’s platform with your customer’s business objectives. You’re comfortable working across both technical and business functions to unlock long-term growth opportunities.
Value-Oriented Communicator
You’re able to articulate Tableau’s value proposition in a way that speaks directly to customer goals. You know how to connect insights and data storytelling to strategic initiatives, helping customers uncover new ways Tableau can drive impact.
Customer-Obsessed & Collaborative
You are passionate about partnering with customers to grow their success. You work cross-functionally with Solution Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success and Partners to help customers discover new value, scale adoption, and bring innovative use cases to life.
