Role Overview
Employee Success (ES) is HR at Salesforce.
The Digital Experience and Research Intern will support the Senior Manager, ES Product Management in driving a cohesive employee experience across the Employee Success (ES) ecosystem. This is a hands-on, summer engagement where you'll contribute to real research, experience design, and strategic projects — gaining exposure to how a large enterprise shapes its internal digital workplace.
You'll work at the intersection of user research, product thinking, and cross-functional collaboration, developing practical skills while making a meaningful impact.
This role will report into our Sr Director: Experience, Agentic AI & AI Labs
Key Responsibilities
Experience Research & Discovery
Assist with user research activities such as survey design, interview scheduling, note-taking, and synthesis
Help maintain a research repository by organizing and tagging findings to support cross-team access
Contribute to competitive and landscape analyses to inform experience strategy
Experience Design & Visualization
Support the creation of journey maps, user flows, and lightweight prototypes to communicate experience concepts
Help translate user needs and business requirements into clear visual artifacts for stakeholder reviews
Collaborate with UX Design partners as needed on specific project deliverables
Cross-functional Program Support
Assist in tracking and documenting key decisions, project status, and experience recommendations across active workstreams
Help identify patterns and themes across research efforts that span multiple teams or initiatives
Support preparation of materials for leadership presentations and stakeholder updates
Roadmap & Future-Thinking Contributions
Research emerging trends in digital workplace tools and employee experience (e.g., AI interfaces, productivity platforms)
Contribute ideas and supporting analysis to longer-term roadmap conversations
Document and track insights that inform "big bet" planning discussions

Who You Are
Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Psychology, or a related field graduating in Dec 2026, or later
Curious, organized, and eager to dive into ambiguous problems
Comfortable with basic design or research tools (e.g., Figma, Miro, Google Workspace)
Strong communicator — written and verbal — who can synthesize information clearly
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
