Salesforce is looking for a Pre-Sales Solution Engineer to join the Informatica Pre-Sales Solution Engineering team, and contribute to the growth of Informatica within Salesforce. As a Pre-Sales Solution Engineer, you will provide technical sales partnership to our sales teams and align our solutions to our customers' vision. The sales team will rely on your technical and business acumen and product expertise throughout the sales cycle. You will work in a highly collaborative team and will become an integral part of the success for both our customers and Account Executives by performing technical discovery qualification, delivering product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts, delivering technical workshops, and making architectural recommendations. As a hardworking technologist and customer advocate and trusted advisor, you will connect the dots between the technical solution to the business value outcomes for your customers.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do
- Perform all activities leading up to the delivery of a customer demo including discovery, technical qualification/fit, customer presentations, standard demos, and related customer facing communication
- Respond to Request for Information/Proposal (RFI/RFP) documents
- Manage customer engagements without support for your assigned accounts and opportunities
- Collaborate with the wider Salesforce Data Foundations and Core teams, along with Product Management, Engineering, and Product Marketing functions to continuously improve Informatica’s products, use case positioning and marketing outcomes
- Share best practices, content, and tips and tricks within your primary areas of responsibility
- Stay current on certification of services required for your areas of responsibility
- Partner with the Customer Success team on nurture activities for consumption and adoption support, including technical advisory, workshops, etc.
- Provide customer feedback on product direction
- Support CxO events, presentations and demos at marketing events without support.
These are qualifications you'll need to be successful:
- 5+ years of presales/technical sales, industry, or consulting experience
- Basic technical knowledge of hybrid deployment of software solutions, Data Warehousing, Database, and/or Business Intelligence software concepts and products.
- Strong communication skills to support presentations, storytelling, and experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects specific to our Go-To-Market use cases
- Experience engaging and creating relationships with influencers, coaches, decision makers, and partners
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 50%) and to work flexible hours
- Relevant experience in data integration, master data management, data governance products is highly preferred
- Certification or working knowledge of Cloud ecosystems / data related Cloud technology (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure) is preferred
- Basic knowledge of cloud computing security aspects is desirable
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role.
