Description
The Agentic Workforce Strategy & Innovation team sits at the intersection of two of the most consequential shifts in enterprise business: the rise of AI agents and the reimagination of how work gets done. We are looking for a Senior Manager of Competitive Intelligence who functions as the enterprise "radar" for the agentic era. You define what "world-class" looks like by benchmarking our human-AI ratios and workforce velocity against the most disruptive players in the market. This is a role for a strategic synthesizer who can take a mountain of external signals and turn them into a clear roadmap for internal innovation.
What You'll Deliver
Market Foresight & Intelligence Signals
Establish and own a repository of competitor AI-augmentation strategies, as well as associated insights such as spans of control, org sizes, org designs, talent profiles and people, that identifies 3-5 high-leverage "innovation signals" per quarter for our Work Lab.
Synthesize vast amounts of external data (earnings calls, whitepapers, labor reports) into a clear leadership narrative on how the competitive landscape is shifting.
Identify emerging agentic technologies and map their potential ROI before they are added to our internal Innovation Roadmap.
External Ratio Benchmarking
Develop and maintain a proprietary database of industry-specific "Human-to-Agent" ratios to validate our "North Star" organizational health metrics.
Provide the executive team with the "So What" of competitor workforce moves—quantifying how their shifts in labor strategy affect our own competitive advantage.
Prototype-to-Product Pipeline
Collaborate with the Delivery function to ensure market benchmarks are translated into actionable redesign targets for our Business Units.
Your Toolkit: Skills That Will Drive Impact
Strategic Synthesis & Acumen
You can ingest a mountain of information and find the three things that actually matter. You write and present with exceptional clarity.
You understand how large enterprises work: you can look at a competitor’s budget shift or job posting trends and deduce their long-term workforce strategy.
Innovation Methodology
You have a genuine fluency in the "Future of Work" landscape—not just talking points, but a real perspective on how AI adoption is reshaping specific industries.
You are comfortable with rapid prototyping and hypothesis-based testing; you know how to design an experiment to prove (or disprove) a market trend.
Partnership & Influence
You know how to work with (and through) high-performing teams without undermining their ownership.
You build trust by being a consistent source of objective, data-backed truth in an era of AI hype.
How We Expect You to Use AI
Model the behavior you're building toward. You are expected to be a daily, active user of AI tools—leveraging agents and assistants to manage your own workload and synthesize market signals.
Market Intelligence Agents. You will build and oversee a fleet of web-scraping and monitoring tools that track competitor job boards, patent filings, and news in real-time.
LLM-Driven Sentiment Analysis. Use AI to analyze thousands of pages of competitor transcripts and industry reports to detect subtle shifts in their workforce strategies faster than any human analyst could.
Synthetic Benchmarking. Use generative models to simulate "competitor responses" to our own workforce moves, allowing us to stay two steps ahead and reframe hard competitive challenges through an AI-first lens.
