Lead Integration Engineer (ERP & Finance Systems)
We are looking for a technical leader to drive the architecture and evolution of our Finance Technology ecosystem, including Workday Financials, Accounting Center, and enterprise integrations.
This role is ideal for someone who combines deep engineering fundamentals with experience in ERP/finance systems, and is excited to modernize finance platforms using integration, automation, and AI-driven approaches.
You will lead a team of engineers and play a key role in shaping scalable, reliable, and future-ready finance systems, while partnering closely with Finance, Product, and Architecture teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and design of enterprise-grade finance platforms and integrations (Workday, ERP, and adjacent systems)
- Build and scale API-first, event-driven integration architectures across systems like Salesforce, banking platforms, and data platforms
- Translate finance and business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions
- Drive engineering excellence across code quality, performance, security, and maintainability
- Mentor engineers and lead technical decision-making and architecture reviews
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions across Finance workflows
- Drive adoption of automation, AI, and modern engineering practices to improve efficiency and reliability
- Evolve frameworks, tooling, and integration patterns to support scalability and long-term growth
Required Skills
- 10–15+ years of software engineering experience, with strong background in enterprise platforms or ERP ecosystems
- Proven experience in a Technical Lead or senior engineering role
- Experience working with finance systems such as:
- Workday Financials, or similar ERP platforms
- Strong expertise in integration architecture:
- APIs, event-driven systems, middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi, Kafka, etc.)
- Solid programming background (Java, Python, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with Workday Financials or similar ERP platforms, with strong understanding of integration patterns across enterprise systems
- Experience building scalable, secure, and maintainable systems
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence technical direction
Preferred Skills
- Experience with modern integration tooling and automation frameworks
- Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-native architectures
- Exposure to AI/ML or automation in enterprise workflows
- Experience in finance domain (R2R, P2P, Revenue, etc.)
