As a Disability and Neuro-Inclusion Subject Matter Expert, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering disability and neurodiversity inclusion initiatives across the Central region (Germany and Austria). You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to create an equitable and accessible workplace for all. Your expertise will drive strategy, enablement, and measurement of impact, while ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements related to the employment of people with disabilities.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with key team members to develop a cohesive strategy for disability inclusion that aligns with our business goals, developing country-specific plans to sustainably increase disability representation through enablement, process, and regional playbook improvements;

  • Lead the governance, execution, and ongoing management of Inclusion Agreements in Germany and Austria, ensuring alignment with statutory requirements, Works Council partnerships, and business objectives.

  • Partner with Recruiting teams to drive the attraction and hiring of talent with disabilities through strategic pipelines, sourcing partnerships, and targeted enablement

  • Partner with Employee Success, Employee Relations, and within the Office of Equality to enhance and streamline inclusion across access needs, ensuring a seamless experience for all;

  • Empower Hiring Managers with standard methodologies to help them hire and support the career growth of talent with disabilities;

  • Evaluate existing processes impacting the people's experience and incorporate best practices for disability and neuro-inclusion (e.g. built and digital environment)

  • Collaborate with external partners and organizations to gain insights and share knowledge on disability inclusion and position Salesforce as employer of choice for disability inclusion and neurodiversity in the local markets

  • Serve as a resource and advocate for disabled employees, addressing concerns, and facilitating open communication;

  • Use metrics and storytelling to communicate success and report the programme progress and success;

  • Have an understanding of the latest laws and regulations within the region and efficiently incorporate them into the program;

  • Maintain disability-related compliance in Region (including relationships with government bodies);

  • Partner with Payroll, and relevant HR technology teams (e.g. Workday) to design, implement, and continuously improve processes and system solutions for disability self-identification, registration, and secure document collection, ensuring data accuracy, compliance with local regulations, and a seamless employee experience;

  • Collaborate with global and regional team members to share best practices and contribute to cross-functional and ad hoc global projects, supporting the continuous evolution and scale of the Disabilities@Work program

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Prior and demonstrable experience as Inclusion Officer in Germany

  • Proven experience with disability inclusion and accessibility in a corporate setting with multiple successful implementation of disability plans

  • Strong understanding of local legislation and third-party organizations related to disability

  • 7+ years program management, project management, or workforce development experience

  • Degree in Human Resources/Organizational Psychology, Disability management Master or relevant experience. Experience is evaluated based on the day-to-day skills required for the role, and can be from a variety of sources (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience).

  • Fluency in English & Germany

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, constantly evolving workplace

  • Strong stakeholders management skills, with the ability to lead complex workloads and multiple demands

  • A resourceful self-starter with strong empathy and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with a collaboration suite such as Google Workplace Apps and Project management software is advantageous
