Product Manager - Success Plan Sales

The DET Sales organization is looking for an experienced, savvy, and strategically minded Product Manager to serve as a Success Plan Sales (SPS) and Sales domain expert. In this role, you will work on critical Success Plan Sales (SPS) and Sales Enhancements and Org62 Modernization programs, driving transformational initiatives that accelerate success through automation and digital engagement.

As a Product Manager, you will act as the primary liaison between partners and the development team, guiding the product development process from vision to execution. You will be a trusted business advisor with a 360-degree view of the business, building deep partner connections and maintaining a strong bias for action.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Backlog Investment: Own, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog based on functional gap analysis (as-is vs. to-be), strategic goals, business feedback, and prioritization frameworks like RICE (Reach, Impact, Confidence, and Estimation), ensuring it is always transparent, visible, and understood. You own the team vision and are ultimately responsible for the execution of work.

User Story Crafting: Lead the translation of high-level business requirements into detailed, INVEST-compliant user stories and epics.

Functional Specifications: Author functional design specification documents to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation.

Customer Advocacy: Act as the unwavering voice of the customer during feature grooming and sprint planning, ensuring the engineering team clearly understands and delivers on business expectations.

AI Evangelism & Innovation: Champion AI maturity across teams and actively thread AI into as many Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD) as possible, both for personal work and the work of others. Be a thought leader in scaling autonomous agents and influencing broader product and platform direction.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Drive alignment with internal, business, and customer stakeholders across sales, engineering, and platform teams to deliver business outcomes.

Product Vision and Strategy: Define the product strategy and roadmap based on Business Vision, Objectives, and critical metrics.

Backlog Management: Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, collaborating with the team to define user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.

Salesforce Innovation: Demonstrate hands-on expertise on Salesforce platforms to provide innovative solutions and remain "demo-ready" at all times.

Continuous Improvement: Oversee the building of prototypes and MVP products, measuring successful delivery against key performance indicators.

Skills and Qualifications

Education: A related technical degree is required.

Experience: 6–8 years of proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role in Agile environments.

Technical Expertise: Deep experience with the Salesforce platform, specifically Sales Cloud and Data Cloud.

Required Certifications: Salesforce Admin Certification is required. Salesforce AI Associate or AI Specialist certifications are highly preferred.

Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport with both business and technical professionals.

Project Management: Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously, from conception through go-to-market strategy and launch.

Must-Have Specialized Skills: * Expertise in Slack product development and integration to drive digital engagement and automation.

Proven experience in AI and Agentforce product development to build autonomous, intelligent solutions within the Success Plan Sales (SPS) and Sales domain.
