Overview of the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical individual to join Chief Operating & Financial Officer (COFO) Finance as a Senior Manager supporting Procurement. This role will serve as a strategic business partner to Procurement, focusing on delivering Procurement’s annual budget and analyzing the largest and most strategic transactions each year. This role will analyze procurement spend including customer 360 evaluations with our biggest partners and vendors, and support executive dialogue on spend prioritization. You will support the COFO on strategic priorities and Executive Leadership team (ELT) reviews of procurement on a quarterly basis. The Senior Manager will own the annual budget, including close, forecast, and reporting for Corporate. The Senior Manager will conduct quarterly budget reviews with the Senior Vice President (SVP) and Head of Procurement, and support strategic analysis of deals on an ongoing basis. The ideal candidate is a finance professional with a strong background in SaaS business models, advanced data analysis, and cross-functional leadership. Responsibilities
Business Partner for Procurement: Drive the annual budget process, orchestrate month-end close and rolling forecast processes, ensure accuracy and synchronization across the remit in COFO and across Salesforce engaging all Finance stakeholders
Partner with Procurement on Spend Management: Ongoing customer 360 analysis of the largest procurement transactions in each fiscal year, quarterly reviews of procurement with CEO/ELT, analysis of the top 20 +/- spend transactions each year
Executive Presentation: Translate complex financial results into concise, actionable insights for the COFO and ELT
Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as a strategic partner across Finance, providing financial rigor and support on major company initiatives
Scale Systems & Processes: Drive the continuous improvement of FP&A software and Business Intelligence (BI) tools to automate manual consolidation and increase reporting speed
Required Qualifications
Experience: 8+ years of experience in a highly analytical role (e.g., Finance, Business Operations). Exposure to B2B SaaS business models preferred.
Financial Modeling: Complex Excel modeling experience and the ability to build "what-if" scenarios that stress-test business drivers and long-range plans
Relationships: Exceptional relationship-building skills demonstrated by ability to grow and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data and financial concepts into clear, actionable business recommendations for executive audiences
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a quantitative field or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the Core Competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
This role is hybrid and goes into the office 3 days per week.
